Resumen:
The taphonomical methodology applied to small mammal can recognize the agents processes and mechanisms taphonomic that have been involved in the formation of a given fossil assemblage.<br/>The main objectives of this study are to identify and describe the palaeoenvironmental features of Sierra de Atapuerca and taphosystem karst along the Lower Pleistocene. For this study, from a taphonomic point of view, the remains of small mammals from the Pleistocene levels of the Sima del Elefante (TE9 to TE14) and Grand Dolina (TD5 and TD6 levels).
