    Literacy, addictive behaviors and mental health of higher education students Inroduction Additive behaviors related to substance use, computer use, cell phone use and social networking have also changed during confinement, some become more intense and others more moderate, also determined by health literacy in a constant effort to adapt. Objectives Study 1 had as its main objective: To map the breadth of scientific evidence on intervention programs in community settings, as well as the impact on cessation/reduction of addictive behaviors in adults. Study 2 had as its main objective: To relate literacy and mental health to addictive behaviors in higher education students in the Alentejo region of Portugal, dropped out during the period of confinement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic
