    Introduction Breast cancer is the most common in women and one of the world's leading causes of morbimortality. In man, it is a rare and under-researched disease that has a major impact on their quality of life. Targets To describe the lives of men with breast cancer and the effects on their quality of life; to analyse the perception of quality of life by patients with breast cancer who receive treatment with chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy, in order to provide quality care aimed at all spheres of the person, taking into account, in addition to the physical, emotional and spiritual part, a more holistic view of the human being. In addition, to determine the variables that influence the quality of life, detecting the moments of the process that have the greatest impact on it; and to assess the effectiveness of ginger in the control of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy in patients who also take antiemetics. Methodology The methodologies used have been: a systematic review of the literature; an observational, longitudinal and prospective study; and a longitudinal, randomized and prospective study.
