    Abstract:
Physiotherapy is effective in treating chronic pelvic pain and improves pelvic floor function and quality of life. This systematic review analyzed 25 clinical trials published between 2020 and 2025, following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The most frequently used techniques were manual therapy, biofeedback, electrical stimulation, radiofrequency, shockwave therapy, ultrasound, and cryotherapy. Multimodal treatments demonstrated greater efficacy than isolated interventions, particularly when combined with pharmacotherapy or psychotherapy. Methodological heterogeneity limits comparisons between studies, although the results support a multidisciplinary, individualized, and comprehensive approach to optimizing patients' physical and emotional well-being.
