    Abstract:
This Bachelor's Thesis analyzes the relationship between mental health and performance in elite ballroom dancers. Through a systematic review of the scientific literature, the main psychological, physical, and aesthetic factors that influence the well-being and performance of dancers are examined. The results reveal the presence of pre-competition anxiety, stress, perfectionism, high physical demands, frequent injuries, and aesthetic pressure—factors that can negatively affect performance. It is concluded that mental health is a key element for sustained performance and that a holistic approach is necessary in the training and support of dancers.
