Abstract:
This Bachelor's Thesis analyzes the relationship between attachment styles and addictive behaviors in young adults. The study focuses on how different attachment styles (secure, anxious, and avoidant) are associated with substance use, such as alcohol and cannabis, as well as with behavioral addictions, including problematic use of social media and video games. Using a quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional design, standardized questionnaires were administered to a sample of young adults aged 18 to 25. The results aim to contribute to the understanding of attachment as a risk or protective factor in the development of addictive behaviors.
