Abstract:
As plastics are one of the bases of our daily life, to fight pollution and increase sustainability, many companies have decided to make use of resources that were considered waste: recycled material, especially in automotive production. The multiple degradations of the plasic in the producion processed led to an increase in volatile organic compounds (VOC) emission, which have been found to be compromising to health. In this work, the concentration of VOC in recycled plastic treated in a silo is analyzed by TD-GC-MS to determine its effectivity.
