Analysis of the Impact of Environmental Sustainability on the Profitability of Spanish Cosmetics Companies

Abstract:
This study analyses the relationship between environmental sustainability and the profitability of ten Spanish cosmetics companies. To do so, the environmental commitment of each company is evaluated through certifications, sustainability reports and environmental policies. At the same time, the profitability of the companies is analysed using financial indicators such as ROE (Return on Equity), ROA (Return on Assets), and net profit margin. Based on the results obtained, the different levels of sustainable integration within business strategy are compared.
