Abstract:
This thesis analyses the economic and financial situation of five professional ACB League basketball clubs —Joventut Badalona, Baskonia, Club Breogán, Bilbao Basket and Valencia Basket— with the aim of assessing their viability, financial strength, and management models. Using financial statements from the last five seasons, the study examines balance sheet structure, profitability, indebtedness, and the key determinants of operating results. A cross-club comparative analysis is also included to identify significant differences arising from competitive level and financial strategies. The work concludes with reflections and future research proposals focused on improving the long-term sustainability of the sector
