Abstract:
The objective of this work is to analyze the feasibility of creating a sports complex specialized in football linked to La Marinada, a summer camp located in Cambrils. The project was born with the desire to diversify the company's activity and contribute to reducing the seasonality of tourism on the Costa Daurada. Based on the analysis of the environment and the market study, a business opportunity linked to the growth of sports tourism and the demand for spaces that combine accommodation and sports facilities in the same area has been detected. Interviews with potential clients have also allowed us to identify needs related to logistical convenience, flexibility and quality of services. To study the feasibility of the project, a business plan has been prepared that includes a market study, a commercial plan, an operational plan and an economic and financial plan, allowing the analysis of both the organizational aspects and the economic and financial viability of the sports complex. The proposal proposes the construction of a football field, taking advantage of the existing facilities and resources of La Marinada. Once the first 5 years of activity have passed, the profitability of the project will be analyzed to assess a possible future expansion. Finally, the economic results show that the project is viable, with positive benefits from the first year and a favorable evolution of the results during the first years. Overall, the work concludes that the project represents a realistic and sustainable opportunity both for La Marinada and for the development of sports tourism on the Costa Daurada.
