Abstract:
Objective: To analyse the situation in the last 15 years of the accompaniment to the psychic-spiritual of the people who suffer a health problem from the nursing science. Introduction: spirituality is addressed as a necessary aspect for the complete realization of the accompaniment of suffering from nursing science, and different areas are analysed where spirituality is present within some counterhegemonic systems Method: Systematic bibliographic review of 26 articles: research, life histories, bibliographic reviews, conceptual descriptions, qualitative semi-structured interviews, participant observations, exploratory and descriptive study with qualitative approach, analysis, descriptive analysis, concept analysis and exploratory surveys. Results and Discussion: Different areas of study are observed in the articles analysed. A first area covers the position of nursing versus spirituality from different approaches: comfort in practice, presence or absence in academic curricula. A second area addresses some nurses' bases and current philosophical theories and their position towards spirituality. And finally a third block links the anthropology nurse in its more spiritual base and compares it with therapeutic spirituality. Conclusions: Need to incorporate spirituality into nursing care, spirituality as a protector of health and protect against counter-hegemonic systems as a possibility for growth in both the professional and personal spheres.
