    Abstract:
    Introduction: Skin burns represent a worldwild problem in public health. According to WHO, it causes around 180.000 death per year. They are defineted as injuries caused by one or several phisycall agents whick destroy the skin and adjacent issue. These facts might produce a superficial lesion or even lost an extense amount of skin alterating the different humain body functions. Main goal: To review the existing information and data about nursing and care of severe burn injury patients. Mehodology: An exhaustive searching was realized in different data base as Cuiden, PubMed, Cinalh and Scopus, using recently articles written in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Results: Once inclusion/exclusion criteria were applied, a total of 15 articles were selected for this rearching. Conclusions: A severe burn injury patient care is difficult and complex to cover motionally speaking. This is why nursers must have some continous training and stablish some strategies to confront any negative feeling whick might emere. In addition, nursersmus be trained in different areas in order to give an optimum recovery to patients.
