Abstract:
Objective: Explore the perception, beliefs and attitudes about gender violence among young-adult nursing students. Methods: A qualitative – descriptive method. There were 4 semi – structured interviews of students of the URV of both sexes (male and female), two of 1st and two of 4th course. Results: The transcription of the interviews was analysed, giving rise to two main categories: according to the educational – formative level and according to the gender. There has not been appreciated any significant difference between students of 1st and 4th course in the variant of academic formation. On the contrary, dissimilarities have been found regarding the gender. Conclusion: No differences were found in the discourse of the participants among the 1st and 4th nursing students. There are differences in the perception of violence according to gender.
