    Abstract:
    Background: Stroke is the first cause of disability and the second cause of death in general population (the first in women). There is strong evidence that exercise after stroke can improve multiple physical and psychosocial domains. Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of different CBE programs designed for people after stroke, to describe the structure and delivery of CBE programs and compare their impact onfunctional capacity, the walking ability, the balance and health-related quality of life to different standard care.
