  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:1945
    Authors:  Yurrebaso Ruiz, Kerman
    Abstract:
Introduction: Muscle rehabilitation in knee injuries such as Femoropatellar Syndrome (PFS) or meniscopathies, is commonly focused on the strengthening the musculature closest to the joint. This review evaluates the effectiveness of the work of the most proximal muscles (hip and Core) and the results obtained by different therapeutic approaches. Objectives: To demonstrate that the work of the lumbo-pelvic and trunk muscles can significantly benefit those affected by meniscopathy or SFP, and to assess which technique or techniques obtain better results in the short, medium and long term.
