    Abstract:
Alcover is a municipality of the Alt Camp region, in Catalonia, with unexplored tourist possibilities, and therefore without these being exploited. This problem appears due to the lack of clear management and a specific definition of the market segments to address these products. This thesis works on this aspect, where it seeks to value the natural heritage of the territory and the culture that is stored in it, which should be taken into account that it is not always based on architectural elements as natural heritage is also culture. Up to now the tourist strategy of the town has always revolved around the architectural and historical heritage that can be found within the urban core of the municipality, and on the other hand it has not been possible to evaluate the natural heritage already mentioned above. In addition, the study is based on the analysis of the existing knowledge in the creation of tourist products of an experiential nature and the integration of tourism typologies since the strategic vision of this study tries to integrate natural tourism with cultural tourism, taking advantage of the unique resource that the natural environment of the Prades Mountains, and more specifically Alcover, has: paleontological remains.
