    Abstract:
Introduction Scoliosis is a musculoskeletal disorder in which there is a three-dimensional curvature in the spine and trunk. It has an important incidence in the population with an appearance of age between 10 and 15 years. There are different types of scoliosis but the most prevalent are idiopathic and postural. The treatment is based on three pillars: physical rehabilitation, orthopaedic contention and vertebral arthrodesis. Schroth, FED and Klapp are the ones of the most important authors of scoliosis methods of physical rehabilitation. Objectives The present investigation will focus on the study of the effectiveness of the treatment performed at the Tarragona’s Catalan Institute of Health (CIS), through the joint application of the Schroth and Klapp’s methods.
