Physical activity in the prevention of risk factors of cardiovascular diseases

    Abstract:
    Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases are a serious problem for public health due to their high prevalence in society. However, physical activity as primary care nursing intervention could be a habit that contributes in preventing them. Objective: Analyze whether the promotion of physical activity is effective in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Methods: To carry out this study, a systematic literature review of scientific articles about physical activity and cardiovascular diseases has been done in the main databases. Conclusion: The promotion of physical activity as primary care nursing intervention has turned out to be an effective method to prevent cardiovascular diseases because it significantly affects the risk factors.
