Actuación en profesionales y estudiantes de enfermería para la disminución de la conducta suicida

Abstract:
Background: suicide is one of the main public health problems, health professionals are at the forefront to detect and prevent. Aim: to know the interventions carried out in professionals and/or nursing students for the improvement of their abilities in the suicide approach. To know the main risk factors to prevent suicidal behaviour. Methods: a systematic review that through the PRISMA criteria has selected the articles of the last 10 years (January 2008 – December 2018). Results: There were 5 articles in this review. This analyse interventions made to health professionals or nursing students. The main interventions were: training and the management of the suicide and opening a psychiatric consultation that works jointly with the emergency department. Conclusion: a good specialized training in mental health promotes the level of skills of nurses in the management of the suicidal patient.
