    Abstract:
    This project is about the basic engineering and partially detail of a separation unit with a capacity of 17 000 kg/h of 2-propanol by azeotropic distillation in a suspension polypropylene plant of 75 000 tonnes/year. The purpose is to recover the 2-propanol used as solvent for the production process of polypropylene suspended and reuse it to the process with a purity of 99.9% in weight, allowing to improve competitiveness and reduce the amount of waste produced.
