    Abstract:
    The title of the project is Thermal use of a waste stream in a steam boiler. The location number of the project is 1513. The project has as a main target the management of the waste stream produced in a vinyl acetate monomer plant. In the project different alternatives are studied for managing the liquid waste stream with a high calorific power, formed by vinyl acetate, ethyl acetate and methyl acetate. It is intended to solve the problem in the most optimal manner possible. After selecting the best alternative for the management, the basic engineering has been design, with the relevant economic study, environmental and industrial safety. This includes the design of all the equipment needed to carry out the simulation and the location of the equipment in the plant. In addition, it gives a detailed overview of the process through various diagrams (BFD, PFD, P&ID and Plot Plan).
