    Abstract:
In the present assignment, the acoustic study of a diaphanous room on the first floor of the building located at number 16 on the street of Sant Francesc de Tarragona, is performed (the receiver premises being an office on the second floor). The first part of this document consists of a theoretical background explaining the necessary concepts to understand the study carried out, as well as a theoretical study of one of the experimental measures that will be executed later on (thus being able to compare the theorical and the experimental results) and the second part, is the determination of the degree of acoustic isolation to airborne noise and its uncertainty. To obtain this result, different emission measures (noise emitted from the emitter premises), immission measures (perceived noise in an adjacent chamber, in this case, a room on the upper floor) and other corrective measures, which must be taken into account in order to determine the final result, are taken.
