    Abstract:
The trans community * is a collective that is increasingly visible in all areas oflife, thanks to the struggle that has driven throughout history to conquer its full rightsdespite to all the situations of discrimination and violence that it has had to endure, situations that sometimes have even cost their lives. The objectives of our research are to analyze the implications for health of being trans *,which risk factors exist and which limitations are observed to the nursing staff when caringof these people through a bibliographic review of articles published during this last decade.Among our findings, we want to emphasize that misinformation about the condition ofthese people and the health risks that they are exposed to includes a large part of society;nurses are not exempt, and this lack represents an important limitation that does not allowus to exercise our care role in a proper way. In addition, due to the marginality to which many of these people are pushed into, there isa high prevalence of STI and toxic habits within this population group, which is why theyrequire our care.Training in nursing studies on this issue will make nurses and nursing professionals able tocreate a safe space to carry out a care as correct as the provided to any other user of ourservice.
