The future of fishing in the land of l'ebre and camp de tarragona

Abstract:
In this work we have wanted to study the future of fishing, and especially how they affect the different crises, through a series of interviews with different members of the fishing fleet, investigating from interviews the entire series of regulations that fishing is subject to, and the future. We have also looked at the evolution of captures with respect to different populations and the possible tendency they may have, comparing also the fleet with the number of crew members who have been at all times, taking into account the evolution that technology has been having. In addition, we have compared the trend in prices of certain species and the effects it has arisen over time, such as the depreciating of certain specific species and the appreciation of other different types. Also, by means of DAFO analysis we have been able to find out all the advantages and possible disadvantages that fishing can have. Through the VAB we have been able to know which is the weight of fishing sector in both Terres de L'ebre and in the Camp de Tarragona.
