    Abstract:
ABSTRACT Background: The anti-vaccine movement is currently booming in several countries. Below are collected data on this movement in Spain, as the epidemiological consequences that it has been able to develop in our society, both individually and collectively. Objectives: Analyze the consequences of non-vaccination of the Spanish paediatric population, as well as identify changes in the epidemiology of VPD, study the increase in incidence of these diseases in the Spanish population, evaluate the influence of the vaccine movement on other members of the community and analyze the role of the health personnel involved. Methods: A narrative bibliographic review is carried out, in scientific databases, following the criteria of inclusion and exclusion established. Results: A total of 19 scientifically based articles and other official documents are obtained and analysed that meet the objectives set. Conclusion: Data show that there is no strong anti-vaccine movement in Spain, despite the different outbreaks over the past decade. But there are groups reluctant to immunize and increase health workers with doubts about vaccination.
