    Abstract:
ABSTRACT Introduction: A good level of training in CPR manoeuvres considerably increases the survival rate as it shortens prehospital time. For this reason, this study focuses on the search for different strategies and training aimed at the general population and healthcare personnel to improve their knowledge of CPR in public places. Objectives: To analyse the different strategies to improve the quality of out-of-hospital CPR aimed at the general population and healthcare personnel, to know the level of training for immediate action and to identify strategies to improve the knowledge of out-of-hospital CPR in the population. Metodology: A bibliographic search is carried out in the main databases (PubMed and Scopus) applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria to adjust the search to the objectives set. Results: After a thorough search and reading of the articles, 15 articles related to the subject of the study are selected. Conclusions: The quality of CPR is essential to increase the survival rate, so it is also essential that the general population and health personnel have good training in CPR. We can see how new workshops and strategies aimed at the population are still needed, although little by little they are being implemented, and in addition to these, such important devices as the AED. Keywords: CPR, automated external defibrillator, nursing, nurses, population and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
