Abstract:
Project that pursues double objective. First, to assess the capacity of the Costa Daurada area to host an event of such a volume of attendees; Looking for the necessities that it needs in terms of sports facilities, accommodation, transport and complementary activities, analyzing the group feasibility. Delving into the characteristics present in the area. Secondly, it presents a proposal to organize an sporting event that can take advantage of the vast majority and make use of the sports facilities expressly built for the XVIII games of the Mediterranean Tarragona 2018, in particular the ring of the Mediterranean, macro Sports complex, as in fact, currently the Rovira i Virgili University in conjunction with the Tarragona delegation, are looking for a use to give these infrastructures once the event has ended.
