    Abstract:
The Works of Roberto Bolaño is one of the most important in the Spanish literature scene. In his work, one of the most recurring and important motives is that of the voyage. Throughout all of his work, one can observe the constant importance that permanent displacement had for the author. We can see this in works like The Savage Detectives (1998), The Insufferable Gaucho (2003) or 2666 (2003). It is in his last great work, 2666, in which this analysis will be centered. In this novel, a predilection towards this motive can be observed, given that its structure is entirely based on it. This way, the five segments that make up the novel will be linked to a large number ofdisplacements of varying nature and importance. It is because of this that we will establish a description and an exemplification of all of them, debating the possible relation of each type to another one of Bolaño’s most important motives: evil.
