    Abstract:
The life expectancy has increased considerably in recent years, which has led to an increase in the elderly population and, of course, the needs they have, especially in the social-health field. Through the internships carried out by the Social Work Unit of a primary care center, it has been possible to conclude that a large part of the available resources aimed at the elderly do not adapt to the needs they present in the actuality. This article is based on field observation work for people over sixty-five in the social work consultation. It aims to know and analyze what are the current needs of this group in the health field and what resources are available to address them, as well as whether they adapt to the new needs detected and vulnerability they present. It also shows a series of suggestions and proposals for the future in order to improve the situation for this group.
