Abstract:
Because of the economic and financial crisis that inducted at the Spanish territory at end of the year 2007, there was a change at the universal health through a new rule in 2012. The access to public health was limited to foreigners who were not registered or authorized to reside in Spain. It was restricted to only have assistance in case of emergency, in cases of pregnancy and cases where minors were affected. After some years of health exclusion to this community, there have been some regulatory changes. Through this article it is intended to understand the irregular administrative situation of the foreigners on the public health after these changes and see if the limitations that they experienced with the old regulation had already been ended. It is done from the social worker point of view because they have an important role on the system. The methodology used is the bibliographic research and several interviews to social workers of the health field.
