Resilience applied in Social Health Work

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:3207
    Authors:  Padilla Pérez, María Cristina
    Abstract:
In a regular way, professionals of the Social Work discipline apply resilient methodologies through the interview. Resilient methodologies try to approach the issue from a point of view where adversity is an opportunity to enhance our users' skills, work with them, and successfully resolve adversity. In the search for the relationship between resilience as a professional practice and Social-Health Work, it appears that we lack any substantiated reference as to whether this practice is carried out in a systematized manner. The application of resilience is a way to focus on working with our user, and to approach the demands from a more personalized perspective. Therefore, the objective of this article is to show, in summary, what is resilience, its pillars and intricacies, the importance of applying it in the social and health field and provide some tools for the systematic application of resilience in the Socio-health field.
