    Prototype system of photometric analysis for enzymatic tests AUTHOR: Oriol Zaragoza Alcaine SUPERVISOR: Josep Ferré Borrull oriol.zaragoza@estudiants.urv.cat Abstract. This project is a study and design of measurement system prototype capable of determining the amount of malic acid dissolved in a sample of wine. In the introducing there is the development of the theoretical concepts and the existing instruments related to measures the concentrations in liquids, as well as the physical and chemical concepts of the chemical compound analysed. After the theoretical base, there are the steps of developing an optoelectronic system able to show a proportional measure to the concentration of the compound in a wine sample. All of this, from simple devices at a fraction of the cost of a conventional instrument of measures. To do the checks of the measure system developed, it is described the procedures, the improvements, and tests performed on the initial prototype. The conclusions from the obtained results are also exposed. Finally, to make the project viable, it is introduced a process for design a final measure system prototype, which is developed. In this analysis is included: the design steps, the system requirements and an estimated cost. For a future prototypes, in this project is included the study for detect the system needs for improve the product, to have a more precise measurement equipment, attractive and useful to the end user.
