    Abstract:
    The project consists of the elaboration of the design of 3 columns that are part of the monomeric vinyl acetate production process with its auxiliary equipment. This process is based on the Bayer process. The basic engineering of the process has been carried out with their respective manuals (environmental, maintenance, operation, industrial safety and economic). The work consists of the simulation and the detailed representation of the process in the different diagrams (PFD, P&ID, Plot Plant) of each of the columns studied.
