    Abstract:
In this Final Degree Project, it has made a special study of the rate of performance offered by the manufacturer of three-phase induction motors low voltage, captured in a database that was made from data of commercial catalogs of different manufacturers. After, parameters from equivalent circuit were estimated with two different techniques and calculating performance in order to compare it with manufacturer to show and analyze errors. With current legislation, it has ben shown if manufacturers madre a correct energy performance rating. Usually, those aren’t classified respecting norms, and with that, we will know the nominal performance limits for each type of energy classification. Finally, we analyzed the economic impact of introduction of high-efficiency motors following the norm. It is shown if we have to invest or not because if we improve the energy performance, results will be expensive and at least, we will know the amortization based on the savings that it generates.
