    FEM Modelization Using Gmsh and GetDP: Examples and Guidelines AUTHOR: Pol Lahuerta SUPERVISOR: Jordi García E-mail: Pol.lahuerta@estudiants.urv.cat Abstract. The project called “FEM Modelization Using Gmsh and GetDP: Examples an d Guidelines” consist in an explanation of the Gmsh and GetDP software working. It is developed with examples. Gmsh is a 2D and 3D developing geometries program. Also, it can mesh those geometries. In the project, its is said that Gmsh can work with two different forms. The first one consist in designing geometries by Gmsh tools. The second one consists in designing the geometries by programming codes. G etDP is other software which is an extension of Gmsh. It only works by rogramming codes. p T his program is used for calculating the Gmsh meshes. It operates by advanced numerical methods. I n our example, we only work with electromagnetism problems.
