Abstract:
Currently prisons are anchored in a pre-digital era. Even so, in order to cope with the constant evolution of technology in society, various Smart Prison projects have been launched internationally to promote the inclusion of technological mechanisms in some prisons around the world, with the aim of making it easier for inmates to keep in touch with their environment and to improve the digital work and educational skills they will need for their subsequent reintegration into society.
