    Abstract:
ABSTRACT. This work contains a investigation about the risk factors in the suicidal behavior, the motivation for do this was the high rates of suicide in the current society turns it in an important health problem. Despite this high epidemiology, it is an avoidable health problem that with appropriate detection of risk and with proper precaution, there is the possibility for reduction. The goal of this work is to do a systematic review abput wich are the risk factors associated to suicidal behavior to contribute on a better definition of risk groups, with preventive purposes. We performed a systematic review of scientific papers that show no experimental epidemiological studies, including observational analytic case-control studies and cohort studies (retrospective and prospective). The literature search was performed in electronic databases PubMed , SciELO and care . There were a total number of eight relevant studies according to the inclusion criteria , which do not demonstrate that it is possible to establish criteria screening for early detection of suicidal behavior , this is due to lack of research the subject and the difference between the results of the studies reviewed.
