    Abstract:
In the set of documents produced, the project for the execution of the air conditioning installations of a municipal recreation center is developed. The building is located in Reus (Tarragona) and consists of several air-conditioned premises distributed over two floors, among which are a cinema, a dance hall, a restaurant, a music room and several offices. The recreational center will be equipped with all the machinery, pipes and devices necessary for the correct air conditioning of the different premises that comprise it, thus ensuring the hygrothermal conditions necessary to guarantee the comfort of the people who occupy it, respecting at all times the laws that must be applied. Design criteria aimed at optimizing the different facilities have been applied in all phases of the project, selecting in each case the best technical-economic solution and guaranteeing the use of highly efficient systems with reduced electrical consumption. The equipment for the production of thermal energy are heat pumps that base their operation on the recovery of aerothermal energy from the air, with high seasonal yields. This entails associated reduced indirect CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. Systems, therefore, committed to the environment focused on reducing global warming and thus contributing to comply with the Kyoto protocol.
