    Abstract:
    This end-of-degree project aims to study the consumption and pollution generated due to the use of combustion vehicles in various operating situations. To carry out this task, an application has been developed using Matlab ‘App Designer’. This application allows you to introduce certain information about a specific vehicle and journey (which can be broken down into different sections), and obtain exact values on the CO2 emissions generated and the average fuel consumption, as well as other results of interest. In addition, it offers the possibility of displaying certain informative graphs of the route, such as speed, specific fuel consumption, the forces acting on the vehicle... Finally, a series of vehicle configuration options are offered intending to adapt the simulation to reality as much as possible. Some of these options are: driving mode, Start-Stop Engine and regeneration of energy during the journey.
