Design, automation and control of a palletization and packaging process with product selector for a packaging plant

    Abstract:
    The aim of this project is not only designing a packaging plant composed of a product selection station, a packaging station and a palettization one, but also its Automation with the Schneider Electric’s software, SoMachine Basic. The automation has been done with a GRAFCET programming approach and the use of the GEMMA guide methodology. Moreover, the HMI screen configuration with Vijeo Designer software is an important goal of the project. The solution is carried out after understanding the desired plant process. Finally, the solution aim at avoiding any risk to workers and equipment, while optimizing the palletization and packaging capability.
