    Abstract:
    The aim of this project is the design and implementation of a fire detection monitoring system integrated within the existing process control system, at the IFF chemical company located in Benicarló (CS). To do this, a Siemens S7-300 PLC will be installed to communicate via Modbus-TCP protocol with several Notifier ID60 and Ziton ZP2 fire detection control panels. The information collected by this PLC will be represented graphically, as an integrated part of the SIMATIC PCS7 control system partially implemented in the facilities.
