    Abstract:
    Approximately half of all myocardial infarctions occur in people with normal LDL-c concentrations. In these people, the main lipid alteration is elevated TAG, which causes a decrease in the concentration of HDL-c. The aim of this work is to understand which factors modulate the decrease in HDL-c due to TAG.
