    Abstract:
    Executive project for an industrial warehouse designed to develop activities related to large-format digital printing. The building will be located in Riu Clar Industrial Park, in Tarragona. The planned floor area is 1 026 m2 , on the other hand, the building will have a slab in which an administrative area and a dining room are established. Finally, the total built area will reach 1 139 m2 . The building will be a completely new construction on a vacant lot. The project is motivated by the need of relocating an existing production activity, aiming the localization of the activity in a strategic place, that is to say, in a more competitive territorial area that offers new business opportunities and favors the company’s growth. First of all, a study of the project constraints was carried out, including those imposed by the promoter. Next, a study of alternatives was carried out too, choosing the most appropriate for each situation. Finally, the calculation and design of the different elements that make up the building has been carried out, including structural calculations, the design of the sanitation network, the water and hot water supply network, the electrical and lighting network, and the design and calculation of a fire protection system, among others.
