Design of the cooling system of the inverter of a competition motorbike

    Abstract:
    In the following final degree project of mechanical engineering, it has proposed to design a colling system for an electric competition motorbike, specifically for cooling down the inverter. The motorbike has participated in the MotoStudent Championship during July 2021 in Alcañiz Circuit, with the problem in the inverter, (element that transforms the electrical energy from the battery to the motor), working above of the limits of performance temperature, getting rid of of the performance that the motor can have and going under the expected speed. Form a CAD design and the telemetry of the team, it has been done the suitable calculus for dissipate the heat, in order that the system enters inside the established working temperatures. All the solutions have to approve the technical regulations verifications, so there are limitations during the resolution of the mistake.
