The importance of air safety in the economic profitability of the sector

Abstract:
This work explains the most important factors that make up the air safety of the companies and whether it influences the economic profitability of the airlines. A database is created with variables that can influence the safety of companies, these are: economic profitability, ASK, safety index, income and own funds. A model was then estimated using 'Stata' to answer this. It is concluded that air safety is a factor that influences the economic profitability of companies, but does not explain it.
