The perception of self-esteem and quality of life in old age

Abstract:
The main objective of the study is to check if there is a correlation and the direction of the correlation between the variables self-esteem and quality of life in a group of people over sixty-five years old. In addition, we also want to evaluate, in more detail, the two dimensions that group the items of the quality of life scale (Psychosocial Well-being and Vital Restrictions and Limitations), and their correlation with self-esteem. However, the aim is to observe if there are differences between the different groups of age, gender, marital status and who they live with, on the four assessed constructs.
