    Authors:  Moreno Asensio, Roberto
    Abstract:
Pyrolysis gasoline plays a very important role for the petrochemical industry. This is because it has a high content of aromatic compounds and is a very valuable source in the production of benzene and the manufacture of gasoline. This work focuses on a Pygas catalytic hydrogenation plant at the Repsol Petróleo industrial complex in Tarragona. Where a hydrogenation reaction occurs with a nickel catalyst. The purpose is to carry out a study of the catalytic cycles of the last 4 years, to observe the effects of the process variables on the reactor.
