    Abstract:
    Through the senses we perceive the world around us: sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch... what if there was a sixth sense? Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) is a personality trait possessed by people called Highly Sensitive (HSS). These people are mainly characterized by a sensitivity to overstimulation, depth of processing, emotional reactivity and sensitivity to subtle stimuli. The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship of the personality trait known as SPS, and several related psychological variables in the literature; stress and perfectionism.
