    Abstract:
COVID-19 is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 which has affected millions of people. This disease may be aggravated by the presence of comorbidities such as hypertension, although it is not known how. This study therefore evaluates the possible biomolecules and metabolic pathways by which hypertension may be worsening the health of COVID-19 patients. For this, clinical and omics data were analysed using softwares such as SPSS Statistics and Metaboanalyst. This showed that gelsolin protein, myo-inositol and lipids might be playing an important role in unfavourable hypertensive COVID-19 patients via pathways such as inflammation or oxidative stress.
