Parkinson's biomarkers in aqueous humor and regulation of microglia in neuroinflammation.

    Abstract:
    In this work, a metabolomic analysis of aqueous humor samples is carried out using mass spectrometry. The data obtained show various metabolic pathways involved in neuroinflammation of neuronal tissue, such as glutathione and arginine metabolism. One approach is to decrease microglia-orchestrated neuroinflammation, for example, through treatment with A2AR antagonists and CB2R agonists. The transcriptomic effects that these compounds had on inflamed microglia were studied. The results were relevant in the reversal of microglial activation from one state (M1) to one (M2).
